Munnar - 93 Kms From Our Resort
Munnar is a town in the Western Ghats mountain range in India’s Kerala state. A hill station and former resort for the British Raj elite, it's surrounded by rolling hills dotted with tea plantations established in the late 19th century. Eravikulam National Park, a habitat for the endangered mountain goat Nilgiri Tahr, is home to the Lakkam Waterfalls, hiking trails and tall Anamudi Peak. Most of the native flora and fauna of Munnar have disappeared due to severe habitat fragmentation resultant from the creation of the plantations.

Vagamon hill station is comprised of a beautiful series of hillocks, valleys and cascading waterfalls that make it the ideal getaway for tourists. Vagamon was discovered by the British who found the place ideal for tea plantations and they were followed by Christian missionaries who built their abode of service at Kurisumala in Vagamon. The landscape is mostly hilly bald with green meadows. Vagamon is also home to a large variety of flowers and orchids. Vagamon has amenities for trekking, paragliding, mountaineering and rock climbing.

Thommankuthu waterfalls is among the best cascades in Idukki. Thommankuthu, a beautiful eco tourism destination, has a series of waterfalls. In addition, there are several caves and viewpoints. Most tourists are happy to visit just the bottom two falls, Thommankuthu and Ezhunilakettu. Other few, who continue forward, are rewarded with a memorable experience. Whether you walk a long way or have a short stroll instead, will be delighted to see nature at its best. There are also small cascades and rapids that certainly contribute to the look and feel. Multiple waterfalls means multiple pools.
Athirappilly Waterfalls - 103 Kms From Our Resort
The two picturesque and majestic waterfalls, Athirapally and Vazhachal are located just five km apart, on the edge of the Sholayar forest ranges. The Athirapally falls join the Chalakudy river after plummeting down 80 feets. The cool spray that covers a large area near the falls makes Athirapally a scenic location. The picturesque Vazhachal waterfall is close to dense green forests and is a part of the Chalakudy river. In close proximity to the road and is locally called “Charpa Falls”. Athirappilly Falls is the largest waterfall in Kerala and is nicknamed "The Niagara of India".
